The 21″ model is the original Sven-Saw, invented in 1961 and made in the USA ever since. It weighs less than 14 oz, folds to a compact 23″ x 1.5″ x 5/8″, and easily rips through 6″ logs. The blade folds into the handle so it can be safely inserted and removed from a bag, thrown in the trunk, and kept in the house or garage.

Smaller than the first Sven-Saw, the 15″ model was designed at the request of backpackers. It’s even lighter, weighing less than 2/3 of a pound, at 11.1 oz. It folds to a compact 17.25″ x 1.5″ x 5/8″ and easily rips through 4″ logs. The blade folds into the handle so it can be safely inserted and removed from a pack, thrown in the trunk, and kept in the house or garage.
