Do you know the story of the giant omelet? Apparently... Napoleon and his army were crossing the south of France and stopped for the night in a small village near Bessières in Haute-Garonne. Napoleon enjoyed the omelet served to him by the innkeeper. The omelet was such a feast that Napoleon ordered the villagers to gather all the eggs in the village and prepare a huge omelet to feed his army the next morning.
