PERFORMANCE TIPS:

• To light a match, it is ideal if the striker is a firm surface which can usually be achieved by simply closing the box.
• If the firing pin and case become wet, the firing pin will still work, but must first dry so the surface is firm again. Use a spare firing pin until then.
• If the matches become damp, simply wipe them dry before use.

SAFETY TIPS:

• Strike away from the body or in a downward position. Be aware of bystanders.
• Be careful when striking the match as sparks may fly from the lighter head.
• After using the match, run it into water to make sure it doesn't ignite anything else.
