SLOPE MAP

A slope map is excellent for both detecting avalanche risk and determining the challenge of your trip. Knowing the slope also allows you to estimate the extra distance you'll need to travel due to the incline. Always exercise caution in steep terrain. The risk of avalanches increases if the slope is steeper than 30 degrees. A slope map will help you identify this risk.

LADDER STRAP
