Do you know the story of the giant omelette? Apparently… Napoleon and his army were crossing the south of France and stopped for the night in a small village near Bessières in Haute-Garonne. Napoleon enjoyed the omelette that the innkeeper had served him. The omelette was such a feast that Napoleon ordered the villagers to collect all the eggs in the village and prepare a huge omelette to feed his army the next morning.
